There are few steps to check ur EVM :

 

1. Ensure default method or assigned method of each object

2. Maintain consistency for EV basis and data >> if you decide to use Annual Cost Plan in your EV version then make sure each object (WBS,Actvity) has annual cost plan value.

3. To ensure POC is calculated, check schedule within activity and related settings

3. Check all parameters through SE38 program CHECKREPORT_PROGRESSANALYSIS

4. Running CNE1

5. Show EV project with PS Profile SAPPS_EV0001

 

note :

+ EV Basis Budget only work in WBS

+ for Internal activity :
   + Plan method : Cost Proportion and Milestone

   + Actual method : Work and Milestone

 

Below is screenshot of my example

As you can see, there are several key elements shown :

- POC (both planned for BCWS and actual for BCWP)

- Planned Cost (as i use Annual Cost plan as basis)

Hi Team ,

 

Any user exit to send the mail notification to user once payment is fully approved.

 

As per the standard  SAP BCM workflow the mail notification is being triggered

to the initiator(Any other option to trigger the mail).

Travel management to WBS standard integration without Fund Management

Dear All,

 

We are facing issue in travel management for below given standard scenarios.

We want to book travel cost/ expenses against WBS. Cost object will be a WBS. The respective WBS will have budget & plan values for the year of posting. We have not implemented fund management and would be unable to do so.


Now the issue is

  1. When trip request is generated & approved, it is not updating estimated travel cost as commitment against a respective WBS budget
  2. When trip is getting settled still the commitment is not getting updated
  3. If a trip is modified/deleted and saved, the committed amount is not getting modified / updated accordingly.
  4. When we post trip cost to finance that time if budget is exceeded system is not allowing it to post which is correct. But till the time of FI posting, there is no information on commitment or probable consumption of budget due to trip cost.


Isn't budgeting, Commitment update and availability controls all standard scenarios in project system.

Shouldn't it also work for any expenses booking scenarios for travel management.



Please advise.

I'd just like to add the following as I accidentally omitted it from my first response.

 

In AFP, workcenter roles are displayed in Contextual Navigation Panel (CNP) view which have only two levels,

 

  • So items on the same level as leaf folder with related services are shown in the Services area.

 

Could you kindly try the following: Go to Detailed Navigation iView. For property 'Navigation Panel Mode' Select 'Always Use Detailed Navigation iView' to display workcenter roles in the Detailed Navigation view.

 

With this enhancement workcenter roles should in theory be displayed with Detailed Navigation view.

Hi Kul,

 

I am not very familiar with the system. Still I tried to find out using BP transaction. I didn't find any duplicate entry in the below screenshot under the 'Partner' tab. Does that mean no duplicate mapping?

 

As for dump, I've to request that from my functional since issue is in production system and he's in a different time zone.

  • In fact, my reply was awaiting your full specifications.
  • However, I was hinting at use of user-exit IWO10009 using a Ztable.
  • This ztable will contain users vs allowed fields
  • And the code in the exit will check whether the logged-in user is editing the field he is allowed for?
  • IF not it will throw an error and the Order is prevented from update.

There is no way set for approval process for Production order, Receipt from production and Issue for production.

Yes, I see the same issue with "In Process" work modes.

 

However, if I delete the "In Process" work mode, then technical monitoring will stop.
This causes an additional headache for me as I've configured work modes for every part of the day.
E.g:
Non-business: 00:01 - 08:59
Normal business hours: 09:00 - 18:00

Non-business: 18:01 - 23:59

 

So, I've found that I can simply adjust the end-time of the "In Process" work mode, to create a gap (only needs 1 minute gap), into which I can then create a 1 minute downtime work mode, then "Add Phase" to the downtime work mode to extend it accordingly.

The additional phase extends over any other scheduled work modes (as you've found).

 

So I don't lose any monitoring in the time between the current "In Process" work mode and the start of the downtime work mode.

Missing authorization and CRM-ECC role issue

Hello Experts,

 

 

 

I have two queries related to Security:

1) I have a scenario where under SU53  screen shot, under S_Develop Auth Obj., I can find 5 fields as

(Missing Authorization)

ACTVT : 03

DEVCLASS: <Dummy>

OBJNAME: <Dummy>

OBJTYPE: DEBUG

P_GROUP:<Dummy>

 

 

When I checked the specific Authorization object under specific Role, I found entries as below:

ACTVT : 03

DEVCLASS: CRM*

OBJNAME: CRM*

OBJTYPE: WAPA

P_GROUP: *

 

 

Now, what are my options here to fix this issue. I need to *** DEBUG Object type, if I add I need to delete the existing one and if I just add without deleting the existing one, the ACTVT field will become same for Object type DEBUG and WAPA. What if I don't want to play with current OBJTYPE type and just add the OBJTYPE DEBUG and its ACTVT? Please suggest.

 

 

 

2) I see that there are roles which are only there in ECC system, not there in CRM. However when we are not able to use a specific transaction in CRM, we make those changes in ECC system. My concern here, if a role is functioning fine in ECC system but when trying the same thing from CRM system(User is there in both systems), it won't work. What could be cause?
