An interesting suggestion.
I already have an ABAP program that notifies me when an account is locked due to incorrect logons. We had considered putting it on all systems and having it send mail directly to our Help Desk for resolution. But I have been asked specifically to have everything go through the Monitoring and Alerting process within Solution Manager.
I also know that the swatch tool is not installed on our systems and I would have to have it evaluated by my server team to see if we could have it installed on our systems. Security here is tight and we are not allowed to install many products.
But it is intriguing. And I would have to test it out / play with it to see if it meets our needs. Thank-you for the suggestion.
