Exception in background task in production

Dear all,

I have a issue in production. i.e my scenario is when a article number created it went went for approval update in database and a notification mail ..

for updating status and ztable i am using background method .

Background method is went to short dump , when checked in swia it is showing in process mode and graphical log shows it is that method .

So how to execute my workflow from the place where it stuck .

checked in swpr and swpc it is not showing ..

after executing the background method two more steps are there to send mails ..

nd after checking ST22 I came to know the dump caused by the method.

Can u please suggest Me ..ASAP
